8 Beatitudes for Writers
Blessed are the poor in spirit writers, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven of gratefulness when they win new books from blog contests.
Blessed are the meek writers, for they shall possess the land the agents and publishers who reject them will, luckily, never face their wrath.
Blessed are they the writers who mourn, for they shall be comforted it is said: If there’s no tears in the writer, then there’s no tears in the reader.
Blessed are they the writers that hunger and thirst after justice for improvement, for they shall have their fill will see encouraging rejection letters and eventual publication.
Blessed are the merciful writers, for they shall obtain mercy can imagine another’s feelings and reactions and can write with passion about experiences they’ve never even had and people they’ve never even met.
Blessed are the clean of heart writers, for they shall see God will (most likely) still have friends and family who will want to hang out when the novel is finished.
Blessed are the peacemakers troublemakers, for they shall be called the children of God will create such booming conflict and sizzling tension that even Donald Maass will marvel.
Blessed are they the writers that suffer persecution for justices’ sake endure baseless reviews, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven is the last laugh when they put the reviewers in novel #2 and get their revenge.

I love this, Laura! I especially like the one about writers who mourn, because no tears in the writer, no tears in the reader. I keep that in mind when writing an emotional scene: if it doesn't bring me to tears, it won't for anyone else.
This is cute!!!! I want to add, God bless the writers.

I should print this and put it up on my wall! Love it.
Very creative, Laura!
I think for me Beatitude #4 would describe where I am!
I really like the sound of that word - Beatitude!!
Looking forward to more of your ingenuity! C you tomorrow!!
These are great! And I can identify with them all, but #2 fits me well.
I liked the 3rd & 4th ones... neat idea. I'm impressed by all the A to Z ers... best of luck with the rest of the challenge!
